SPEECHCRAFT course in the Campbelltown area

Do you want to boost your communication skills; for your career, for business, at home, socially – and for personal growth? Do you want to present your ideas convincingly in an organised and logical manner? This course will provide practical help so you will improve your confidence and “find your voice”.

Enrol in this course and you will be practicing the skills as you learn them week by week. We will provide the materials, manuals, presentations, demonstrations and coaching but then the practical learning - “Learn By Doing” is what you’ll be doing!

Speechcraft is a short course designed to teach practical communication and leadership skills.

The Speechcraft courses run at Macarthur Toastmasters are designed for anyone who wants to quickly enhance their presentation skills whilst boosting their self confidence.

The Objectives of Speechcraft are to:

•     Develop and enhance public speaking and presentation skills
•     Develop and practice the techniques of impromptu speaking or “thinking on your feet”
•     Organise and deliver a prepared speech with no signs of nerves
•     Develop a poise, confidence and leadership potentially you may not know you have

You Will Learn How to:

• Organise, prepare and deliver an effective speech
• Construct and supply an answer to an impromptu question
• Gain audience attention with an effective opening, body and conclusion
• Introduce a speaker in a professional manner
• Effectively project your voice, use gestures, and body language
• Be responsive to the needs of your audience
• Use visual aids, such as white board, an overhead projector, and a flip chart
• Use Powerpoint or a data projector

At Macarthur Toastmasters Club we know the value of providing a supportive and fun environment so that you can develop and improve your communication skills, leadership skills and confidence.

The Speechcraft Course Details

Our Speechcraft course will be conducted locally (at this stage at West Leagues Club, Leumeah, NSW).

Typical courses run one night of the week for 5 or 6 weeks.

For example a course may be consecutive Mondays nights from 7pm - 9pm.

This is a high quality/ high value multiweek course. We provide the materials, manuals, present & demonstrate everything you need to do and give constructive feedback and support from experienced toastmasters!
